Social Outreach Programme

The department organized a social outreach programme on 05.12.18 for its students at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol, to acquaint them with the practical aspects of the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

Facilities

Started with around 40 books, both text and reference

b. Computer Lab:

A computer along with printing, scanning and photocopy facilities available in the department, not as a separate laboratory.

c. Departmental Science Lab:

Cultural events organised by the Department

  • The department encourages its students to celebrate Teachers’ Day each year.
  • Fresher’s welcome and farewell for the newly admitted students and outgoing students respectively, are also organized by the students of the department each year. The faculty members actively extend their assistance to the students in this regard.
